Game-makers from around the world strive to get recognized in the field. The Starlet Awards, EGR Awards, and International Gaming Awards (IGAs) are only some of the notable merits in the gaming industry.
The game-makers in this list have developed slots that have creative graphics, distinct features, and innovative gameplay which is why they have garnered titles in award ceremonies worldwide. Here are the game-makers that gained their respective recognitions and awards this year.

Betsoft Gaming has been recognized for three awards this year for its impact in the international iGaming industry. Last May, the game-maker won awards from G2E Asia and Malta iGaming Excellence Awards 2018. It showed great prowess on providing quality content, innovating game themes and mechanics, and demonstrating strength on its platform.
Andrew W. Scott, Chairman of the G2E Asia Awards judging panel, congratulated the Betsoft team as he said:

In October, Betsoft won as Best Slot Provider in the 2018 Starlet Awards. The criteria for this category are confidential, but within the judging period for this award, Betsoft released cinematic titles such as Sugar Pop 2, Reels of Wealth, and Golden Owl of Athena.

Play’n GO has been one of the most outstanding game-makers in 2018 as it took home four awards this year and two of them are Slot Provider of the Year awards. The game provider has also been recognized for its contributions to the industry by being nominated for this year’s SBC Awards, EGR Operator Awards, and Global Gaming Awards, among others.
When Play’n GO won the Slot Provider of the Year award at the 2018 IGAs last February, the game developer was hopeful that it will only be the start of their continued success this year.

From past years, Yggdrasil has won awards such as Gaming Supplier of the Year and Innovator of the Year at the IGAs. This year, the game developer was crowned as Innovator Supplier of the Year for creating out-of-the-box ideas in putting the company forward.

Yggdrasil’s latest releases have showcased its innovations through having unique graphics and features. Nitro Circus, Wolf Hunters, and Hanzo’s Dojo are only some of the titles released this year.
Nitro Circus is Yggdrasil’s first-ever branded game. It features Nitro Circus’ greatest stunts, biggest stars, and craziest vehicles. In this game, you can unlock the Nitro-Jump bonus game in which you can fly through seven vehicles to collect multipliers, coins, and bonuses.

Microgaming has won only one award for this year. But according to the IGAs, Microgaming has “shown extraordinary commercial success along with offering cutting-edge technology to their clients.”
The quality of the game developer’s slots has also shown promise as you would see it in the provider’s latest releases. Reel Talent, Lucha Legends, and Exotic Cats are only some of Microgaming’s new additions to its library.

The game provider‘s latest slot releases continue to prove NetEnt’s innovation in mobile. Some of the newly released mobile-compatible slots are Strolling Staxx, Turn Your Fortune, and Berryburst.
